The Establishment of Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association (APVIA) will be formally

     

 

With the support and promotion of Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and Singapore Tourism Board (STB), the Secretariat of Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association (Preparatory) entrusted CPA Partnership Pte Ltd. to submit the application of establishing Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association to Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) of Singapore in accordance to the country's regulations on founding non-profit organization.
In the afternoon of Feb.21, the 3rd Work Meeting of Establishing APVIA was held at the Kerry Hotel, Pudong. Participants of the meeting came from over 150 companies and organizations in different countries and regions, including Chinese Renewable Energy Society (CRES), Korean Photovoltaic Industry Association (KOPIA), Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS),Chinese Renewable Energy Industries Association (CREIA), Taiwan Photovoltaic Industry Association (TPVIA), Shanghai New Energy Industry Association (SNEIA), Jiangsu PV Industry Association, Zhejiang Renewable Energy Association, Qingdao Renewable Energy Association, and ShenZhen Solar Energy Society. These associations also noticed their company members to attend the meeting. What's more, China representatives of PV companies such as Dowcoring from U.S., WEIDMULLER INTERFACE from Germany, Sunny Spain from Spain also attended the meeting and delivered speeches. The Articles of APVIA and various important resolutions were approved at the meeting.
The Asian PV industry organizations long-expected Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association, will take place on the occasion of Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW) and APVIA (2011) PV Asia Pacific Expo.
